In Japan, when kids turn 3, 5 or 7, they are taken to temple in traditional Japanese wear to be blessed (or something like that). We didn't go to temple, but the summer before Kevin turned 8, I splurged and got this picture taken of him in Kimono. He insisted on the poses himself.
