Pictures I want to share of interesting Japanese customs that may not be familiar to people from other countries. Well, of course, many of the diretories in this online album are about interesting Japanese customs (like Kevin's School in Japan), but these are things that don't fit in other categories, or that I especially want to highlight.
Kevin eating sushi at the "Tractor Sushi" place in Koriyama. Tractor sushi is when the sushi goes around the restaurant on a conveyor belt and you take off plates of sushi to eat. At the end of your meal, you pay for each plate you consumed. The charge for each dish is determined by the design of the plate. The average plate is about $100 for two or three pieces of sushi. Yummy and fun. At this restaurant, you can also order off a menu and a little minature train delivers your order to your table.
