Well, of course, many of the diretories in this online album are about interesting Japanese customs (like Kevin's School in Japan), but these are things that don't fit in other categories, or that I especially want to highlight.
Japanese doll festival or Girls' Day (Hina Matsuri) is the first part of March. To mark the occassion, grandparents must buy their newborn granddaughters a set of dolls! See pictures of traditional dolls here. But the interesting thing is all the OTHER hina matsuri dolls like the Mickey and Minnie dolls and Hello Kitty and AnPanMan doll sets. Aren't they cute?
