Danjuro Ishizaka and his beautiful wife Zena (Xena?) visited Miharu twice. This last time (2006) he brought his mother and father from Germany, too. He is a gifted celloist from Germany, half Japanese. Miharu Ensemble hosted a welcome party for him after his Mahora Debut in 2004. We were invited to the party for him when he returned in 2006. He plays a Stradavarius cello that sounds like angels singing. Is it the cello or his playing, I wonder? Just kidding, Dani!
