There is NO place in Miharu with a better view of the fall colors than the Rice Lake House. You can sit in the living room on the sofa and look out the picture window to the back of the house and get nothing but LIVING COLOR! The garden is lovely and the view from the second-floor bedroom windows is MAGNIFICENT!
You can't really see it so well, but the view from the Wisconsin Room windows in the fall is MAGNIFICENT. The window looks out over the back of the house, the deck, and the small river and mountain behind us. There are a couple of maple trees and the three large, old cherry trees that turn orange, and on the hill above us a view of a SPECTACULAR ginko tree that turns BRIGHT GOLD like its on fire! WOW! Wish you could see it!
